Solutions Design Director eCommerce

The Client: 

• JBAndrews is working with a leading Contract Logistics company operating globally across multiple industries, with a focus on Retail, Fashion, eCommerce, & FMCG.
• They are looking to accelerate the growth of their eCommerce Warehousing sector in Europe in the main, with this position focusing on projects in Iberia.

The Role:

• Due to recent customer acquisition and the intention to maintain the growth, the business requires an experienced Solutions Design Director to help drive customer excellence and growth across eCommerce Warehousing projects in Iberia, in order to maximise efficiency, and minimise costs to the network.
• This position will involve fostering new relationships, taking final decisions on which to keep and which to cut, and helping to generate new business to be fostered for the long-term.
• The role will come with newly developed clients, and current customer accounts too.
• The main functions of the role will be the Warehouse Design, Cost Calculations, Budgeting, and assisting with Tender processes, and will lead a team of Engineers.

The Requirements:

• The business is seeking someone with a background in Solutions Design at a senior level within the Warehousing & Distribution sector specifically, ideally with a commercial element to their work.
• Experience in Contract Logistics essential, ideally with a consultative style approach. Experience of previous eCommerce design projects is advantageous.
• You should possess at least 5 years’ experience in Solutions Design consistently performing to ensure targets are hit and the logistical aspects are satisfied on a day-to-day, and strategic, level, with blue chip organisations.
• Ideally the candidate will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills through prior experience on an International level.
• Grassroots experience in a logistics environment in a number of different disciplines and locations would be highly beneficial.
• The ideal candidate will be based in the Madrid area, and will be eligible to work here.
