Sales Director

About the Company:

JBAndrews are currently searching for a talented Sales Director in the generic API industry on behalf of a global chemical manufacturer headquartered in Europe. With strong growth realised in the last 12 months and further growth projected for the next 12 months, the company are searching for talented and proven sales person, with relevant industry experience, to promote the companies growing R&D and production capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate business unit growth at the projected and targeted rates.
• Effectively manage relationships with existing business partners and customers through account management.
• Maximise performance at major accounts – drive profitable growth.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of new business through aggressive business development.
• Develop and implement business plans.
• Ensure a thorough market coverage and develop strong relationships with customers through regular travel and client visits.
• Participate and industry tradeshows and conferences.
• Work effectively in a complex and technical regulatory environment.
• Sell directly to businesses and also manage distributors.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience working in a B2B sales environment within the pharmaceutical ingredient space, preferably working with generic API products and portfolios.
• At least a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or economical discipline, related to the pharmaceutical industry.
• A good and clear knowledge of pharmaceutical technologies.
• A good understanding of the cGMP regulatory environment.
• A willingness to travel regularly, at least 40% of the time.
• Great people and communication skills.
