About the Company:

JBAndrews are partnered with a producer of chemicals, ingredients and raw materials, serving the domestic pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and wider life science industry in the United States. With an ambitious growth plan and a growing customer base, the company are searching for a Sales Account Executive for the New England region to help push the companies expansion.


The ideal candidate will be an experienced, ambitious sales person and proven account manager. They will have a clear track record of nurturing and growing a portfolio of business, selling chemicals, ingredients and raw materials into the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries.


  • Manage an existing multi-million dollar book-of-business, nurturing and developing relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Travel will be an essential element of the role, at around 60%.
  • Develop and implement regional strategies to grow sales and surpass targets.
  • Operate within the regional budget and according to company policies.
  • Prospect clients and understand their needs.
  • Budget and allocate resources efficiently to maximize outcomes.
  • Perform various other duties as is required.


  • A BSc degree in a related life science discipline, for example Biology or Organic Chemistry.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience into the chemical industry.
  • Prior experience in customer facing positions- comfortable with travel.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs & packages.
  • Strong communication skills and understanding of sales process.
  • Possesses analytical skills for independent problem solver.
