About the Company:

JBAndrews are currently partnered with one of Europe’s fastest growing biotechnology companies focused on the development of high quality biosimilar medicines. With a promising and growing pipeline of products, the company are searching for a talented and proven manufacturing leader in the biologics space to lead the drug substance manufacturing activities and teams, based in Scandinavia.

Responsibilities:

• Play a critical role in the design and execution of the companies operational strategy.
• Ensure safe, compliant, and successful execution of the Drug Substance Manufacturing team.
• Providing day-to-day directions to manages teams and professionals through a matrix management model.
• Lead teams and work cross-functionally to ensure alignment with the operational goals and timelines.
• Manage production lines incorporating mammalian perfusion and fed batch technology.
• Prepare annual manufacturing plans, ensure delivery of capacity and development of operations efficiencies.
• Be a lead person representing manufacturing activities during for regulatory and client audits.
• Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing.

Qualifications:

• At least a BSc or Msc in a life science discipline related to the biotechnology industry (PhD preferred).
• A minimum of 7+ years’ experience running an EMA/FDA monitored biologics drug substance site.
• Experience running manufacturing teams of 100+ reports.
• Solid understanding of Biological Manufacturing processes and its regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated expertise in upstream and downstream manufacturing, as well as analytical tests and technology transfer processes.
• Expert knowledge of operations in clean rooms.
• Fluently speak English.
