Field Application Scientist

Role: Field Application Scientist (FAS)

Salary: 10 Million JPY (85% Basic Salary, 15% made up from bonuses)

Location: Tokyo, Japan

The company:

JBAndrews is partnered with a global leading Biotech company presently seeking a Field Application Scientist to look after the Japanese market and provide technical support to customers.

The Role:

• Reporting to the Commercial Head of Japan.
• Liaise with the commercial team and provide: the pre- and post-sales onsite technical support and market development activities for products/services including protein expression, antibody discovery on and protein analysis.
• Travel is required, locally and regionally when visiting customers.

The Requirements:

• Masters or Doctorate in biologics related fields including proteins, antibody production or immunology.
• Experience with antibody discovery, protein production or immunotherapy is preferred.
• Experience with technical service, customer service, marketing or sales and teaching presentations is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essentials (TOEIC 700 and above).
• Japanese Citizen.
• Experience working for global pharma (preferred).
