Area Sales Manager: US & Canada

JBAndrews are currently partnered with one of the European leaders in Contract Development and Manufacturing for small molecule Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Drug Substances, with a sharp focus on delivering high quality products with speed.

With locations in North America and Europe, our client is well positioned to support customers with their New Chemical Entity programs, every step of the way, on their journey from pre-clinical to commercial production. They also offer a generic portfolio of commercially available to grow, which has seen rapid expansion in recent years.

Responsibilities:

• Increase the number of sales, customers, business, and gross margin of generic APIs.
• Manage a budget of between $10 – $13 million in the North American market and grow this consistently in line with company targets.
• Carry out market studies and formulate reports for new generic APIs.
• Maintain a good knowledge of the consumption and prices of company products.
• Manage your agents and obtain information on the evolution of the markets.
• Contact with the business development area and the regulatory affairs departments for new products.
• Propose objectives and strategies regarding sales, prices, new products and agents.
• Travel whenever necessary to meet the needs of the client and the company, planning trips in the most efficient and optimal way.
• Reporting to the Global Area Manager for API Business Development.

Required profile:

• University studies in health sciences (chemistry, pharmacy, biotechnology).
• Experience in project management and communication with clients.
• Advanced English level.
• Availability to travel as is needed.
