About the Company:
JBAndrews are currently partnering with one of the leading manufacturers and distributors of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Excipients in the world. The company are looking for a talented commercial profile to manage and grow the company’s presence in strategic territories in Europe, as they look to further solidify their position as an industry leading supplier to the global pharmaceutical market.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and expand the sales of the companies entire product portfolio, encompassing a broad range of APIs and excipients for various dosage forms.
- Work directly with existing accounts and also with distributors.
- Develop new business opportunities through aggressive business development.
- Expand the product pipeline through cross-functional collaboration with various functions within the company.
- Support New Product Introduction into assigned territories in accordance with marketing launch plans.
- Participate in pharmaceutical industry events, including technical seminars, technical conferences and trade shows.
- Negotiate product pricings and contracts.
- Periodically update and achieve annual territory plans covering current affairs, objectives, targets, growth plans and strategies. Develop more global account plans as is required.
- Work closely with CRM tools to log all relevant data.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Service teams to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- A scientific degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Organic Chemistry or other relating to the pharmaceutical industry.
- A master’s is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant sales/business development experience in the pharmaceutical ingredients sector.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Other languages would be a plus.
- Strong knowledge of the technical and scientific components of pharmaceutical development.
- Strong knowledge of quality and regulatory components too.
- At least 50% travel throughout assigned territories is required.
- Excellent follow up skills.
- Strong negotiating skills.
